My husband was told the scrap gold we had was fake but we took to the next pawn shop and it was 10k we were paid over 300. Snobbish and like they look down on people. Used silver detecting acid for the gold just to say it was fake smh. Very dishonest

Very dishonest and very rude, it was if I were bothering the owner just by being there. They low ball everyone, they ask how much do you need instead of paying the set price for gold and silver. I had a complete box of 270 premium ammo with the price tag of 45.99 and he offered $10. They also quoted a gun for $75 and said they would price it at $115 and be lucky to sell it… I sold it for $175. Bottom line is if you want to be scammed do business with them, I highly recommend that no one should even attempt to do business with them, drive a few extra miles, it’s worth it, I promise!  Complete scam artist that take advantage of customers. Pawn shops offer less than you would get on the free market but never should be running on a 75 to 80 percent margin. They are the definition of greed.
