Went out with my brother in-law and his buddy and we were treated with nothing but respect, modesty and a great time. When another party left we were given the "private range" treatment and were allowed to have a good (safe) time. Was a little bummed we couldn't fire an RPG or Mortar on the range, bit it was understandable. All-in-all it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend. Also, going during mid-week is best because we were there for almost 2 hours and there was no one else out there.

The gentleman working are great, a little rough because they care more about your safety then about you feelings. The same guys that tell you that you are the worst shot on the range will extend range hours and stay longer then closing to make sure your rifle is zeroed and you are confident. Amazing place for us Marines and Blue collars that have calloused hands and friendly hearts. Bring a sense of humor you'll need it.

Rustic, no frills range for the whole family, just as it should be.  Owner and range master are super friendly and helpful, fellow shooters are just plain awesome. Don't be surprised if the more "seasoned" Grampas take your kids under their wing and have them shooting their rifles ! My son's first time out shooting, turned into being taught to hit targets at 100 and then 200 yds 😄. Thanks "Uncle Benny 👍🏼"

Friendly staff, nice guns, a lot of freedom. I went with 2 others and shot 6.5 creedmoor and 5.55. we had an enjoyable time, however the ar was not zeroed. It came out to around 200 dollars.

Several folks have posted about the rifle range and the pistol range. You all forgot about the 5 stand clays station y’all!! Well that’s what I came for. As of 7/21/2018 they have 5 traps on their 5 stand course. Cost was $20 just like the pistol and rifle ranges. I bought 4 boxes of twelve gauge and they let me shoot 100 birds. The number two trap machine was not working but I had four more to play with. Very basic presentations. Two crossers, one lofter, and one “lazy” bird from the right. John, one of the ranges safety officers, was gracious enough to come over and pull for me. Excellent chap. Had a lot of fun talking with John and shooting the 5 stand course. Did a little rifle shooting with my AR while I was around. Ha! Will definitely be coming back for more!

Great spot. Second time there to shoot their steel target range out to 500 yards. Clean facility and everyone that works there is friendly. Thank you

Rented a car hauler (UHaul trailer) here. Fabulous folks! Definitely looking out for the customer and doing what's right.  This is my new UHaul "go to" in the Havelock NC area!!!

I was checking out audio equipment and the man who helped me at the counter was extremely knowledgeable and gave me tips on what I should do with my setup. The prices were extremely reasonable and on top of that he cut me deal because I bought two pieces at once. Before I made my purchase he even tested both pieces of equipment with me to make sure I'd be happy with my purchase. Before this I had checked out a couple of other pawns in town and this was by far the most customer focused and most fairly priced.

The guy I got was very rude and would not even let me talk. It was my frist time in there and my last.

Total Thieves! My wife and I went in to sell a 14 karat gold chain weighing 3.5G... I did my research and even would have accepted $100 but I was offered $36 by this obviously ignorant thug... Now here is what we actually got by going somewhere that is not just out to steal your money or objects...

Great people, I bought a used Springfield XDS-9 pistol and it functions perfectly. Price could’ve been a little better given it was a used weapon but it was in good shape. Ammunition prices were good too. They also have a wide selection of other things you might need from TVs to tools and jewelry plus much more. Family owned since the 80s, will be shopping here again!!

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. My first transaction with Bob's trading post was with Mr Bob himself, and about 30 years ago.  Since then I've made countless purchases and they are always more than fair. They have a unique selection of tools and items that are hard to find anywhere. Dustin, Jesse, and Mr Bob himself, always treat the customer fairly, and in my opinion, they are by far the best pawn shop in the state.
